First Pets!

So, unlike the typical first pet of a goldfish, cat or dog, our girls got baby CHICKS! Bryan is raising some egg layers at the Ranch in Moorpark, so when the newest members of the chicken family hatched Bryan brought them home so the girls could play with them in the backyard.

They were super cute. Charlotte named them: Emma Brown, and Emma Black (You can probably guess which ones which;) We found out later that "Emma Brown" was actually a rooster. Which explains why "she" was so rascally.

We only had them for three weeks and then they were off to the Ranch to start layin some eggs. But in the mean time the girls loved every minute of their first pets.
